We have updated our system so that Java is no longer required to connect.

You may now connect with a telnet client of choice. You may download
instructions for setting up a telnet session by clicking HERE.

These instructions are written for PuTTY, a popular free application that
is available at http://www.ninite.com/putty , but should work with
any telnet product.

For instructions on how to use the system contact the Land Records
department at (828) 452-6644.

To log off of the system, please type "OFF" at the menu prompt.

This page will NOT allow you to print the information displayed.
